Emily Hariton is a doctoral student at Adler University in Chicago where she is pursuing a Psy.D. on the child and adolescent track. She received her B.A. from the University of Connecticut in Psychology in 2014. She also received her A.S. from Norwalk Community College in Early Childhood Education in 2012. Her interests include developmental psychology, empathy and compassion in children, mindfulness as a therapeutic tool, and being outside as often as possible.
